A global leader in Retail & Travel tech is hiring for a Technical Account Manager to manage technical relationships with merchants.
The Technical Account Manager will work across the full relationship cycle, including pre-sale, implementation and integration, solutions rollout and service delivery.
To apply for this role, you should have experience working as a Technical Account Manager or Project Manager, ideal in a retail or finance (POS) environment.
What does a Technical Account Manager do?
- Responsible for technical pre-sales for Global Merchants (typically high-end retail brands).
- Manages the full relationship cycle, including from pre-sale to implementation and integration, solutions rollout and service delivery.
- Collaborates with both internal and external teams on implementation projects.
- Delivers Issuing Solutions that are compliant with the global integration process.
- Is the point of escalation for technical issues from merchants.
The required experience
- Experience managing international projects.
- Consulting experience, ideally with working knowledge in the POS retail or credit card industry.
- A background in IT, working with virtual and co-located teams.
- A solution orientated approach to Technical Account Management.
- Strong project management, stakeholder communication and organisation skills.
Bonus points
- An understanding of POS tech and transactional systems.
- Experience with PCI, EFT payment standards, EMV.
